Little Changes, Big Results
More often than not, time is not on our side. We wake up late, rush to meetings, eat on the go; our schedules simply do not allow a balanced diet. With our never ending schedules come excuses as to why we don’t have the time or flexibility to change for the better. Your skin, your health and your waistline all suffer because of those excuses. Suffice it to say, a healthier diet can be achieved without costing you time, money or your routine.
I wake up late almost every day. My mornings used to be a halved grapefruit before my 5:00 a.m. trip to the gym. As my schedule got more hectic, so did my diet and exercise routine. My grapefruit suddenly turned into much more convenient bagels, and my trips to the gym were few and far between. Needless to say, this made for a hungrier, crabbier and less productive me. Once I figured out what my small changes were costing me, I reintroduced my morning grapefruit and exercise back into my day... but in a more convenient way. Ready-to-eat grapefruit offers the same health benefits with less preparation, while the city streets outside my apartment seemed a more accessible and cost effective location for my fitness. Getting back into a more stable, healthy and convenient lifestyle gave me more energy during the day, improved skin and mood, and no significant change to my schedule, routine or wallet.
The change you want to see won’t happen overnight, but it’s exhausting to think of having to make sacrifices you simply do not want to make. These changes don’t need to be exhausting, however, they just need to be made. A little switch here and a little less there and you’re well on your way to a happier, healthier, more gorgeous you!
