BENEFITS

PurTox® is a new, purified botulinum toxin type A neurotoxin. The injection, much like Botox other similar injectables, Purtox® aims to improve the appearance of frown lines, forehead creases and wrinkles by disrupting nerve behaviors associated with facial expressions. Mentor, the company responsible for the highly diluted formula, hopes to improve the evident time lag associated with other injectable results, and eliminate the risk of drifting that causes the eyelid to droop temporarily in 5% of Botox patients.
