MedSculpt™

BENEFITS

Med Sculpt™ is a non-invasive and computerized body contouring treatment. Med Sculpt™ offers the operator various levels of intensity designed to reduce cellulite and tone tissue. Additionally, the Med Sculpt™ treatment can assist as a pre, and post liposuction treatment.

DESCRIPTION OF TREATMENT

Med Sculpt™ utilizes an elastomeric membrane, made of synthetic rubber, which subjects the areas treated to a mechanical massage. The massage is combined with ultrasound energy to target compacted layers of fat cells while stimulating lymphatic circulation and allowing the re-absorption of stasis liquids. An ultrasound can be added in conjunction with the intense massage to promote deeper action and metabolism increases on the treated tissue.

A typical Med Sculpt™ treatment can last 15-45, which depends on the area being treated. Med Sculpt™ requires 8 sessions, scheduled twice a week, before beginning the hydrolipclasias/ultrasound treatment. At three-week intervals, the number of hydrolipclasias/ultrasound sessions range between 4 and 6. This is followed by an additional 10 sessions of massage alone, twice a week, starting 4 days after the final hydrolipoclasias /ultrasound session.

SIDE EFFECTS

Side effects associated with Med Sculpt™ can include minor bruising, or swelling in the treated areas. Headaches may also be apparent within the first hour after treatment due to the mechanical aggressiveness of the treatment. These transient effects typically subside soon after the treatment is over.

SAFETY

Med Sculpt™ is an FDA approved, computerized body massage and ultrasound system.

AVERAGE COST

The average cost Med Sculpt™ treatments typically depend on the location of the provider and the condition of the area, or areas being treated.
